Bio
A true lover of Art in all forms, Alyssa seeks to uncover quiet and powerful worlds that mirror our reality, both physically and emotionally. Alyssa has experimented with multiple mediums with a focus on painting. In 2016 she received her BFA degree in Pre-Art Therapy from The University of Saint Francis.
After graduating, she spent over a year as an assistant to sculptor Sayaka Ganz. Alyssa added to her knowledge of metal working and armature creation. This time gave her new insight into working with reclaimed metal and plastic. Her love for learning new mediums is always growing, as she is currently working as a Studio Artist Technician for Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum.
Alyssa served as a member of the Artlink Artist Panel for a term, in her home town of Fort Wayne, IN. Her works have been shown internationally in cities like Berlin, Tokyo, and London as part of GIFC Traveling Exhibitions.
Alyssa relocated to Nashville, TN in 2020.and continues to grow her Art practice. She is pleased to have an upcoming Spring 2023 residency at Stay Home Gallery and a show at Turnip Green Creative Reuse in Summer 2023.
